Kale Chips vs. Potato Chips

Benefits of Kale Chips are astronomical in comparison to its counter part greasy deep fried potato chips. Of course, I haven’t done any scientific studies but I’m blogging about the obvious. Kale chips are higher in nutritional value and they pack more nutrients for a healthier diet. It also gives the crunch and saltiness that chip lovers crave, and they’re baked. Here are the facts according to WebMD “Kale is packed with antioxidants and other nutrients. Some research suggests that regularly eating vegetables in the cabbage family, like kale, helps lower the risk of certain cancers. Of course, many other things also affect your cancer risk.” It was an easy transition for me to take the leap on the Kale craze a few years back because of my love for fruits and veggies. But, I’d like for more customers to be educated on the benefits of some of the things we sell. I’ve had quite a number of patrons come through and get a smoothie but was reluctant on this absolutely delicious snack.
